Trainees’ Night

One of the most cherished traditions held parallel to the Annual Surgical Congress will be the Trainees’ Night. Designed exclusively for Surgical Trainees and their Trainers, this evening will serve as a bridge between experience and innovation.

Unlike the formal proceedings of the Congress, the Trainees’ Night will offer a relaxed atmosphere where Registrars and Consultants can engage in open dialogue, share stories from the operating theatre, and build the professional bonds that define a surgical career. It will be a celebration of the future of surgery—a moment for trainers to mentor and for trainees to shine. The evening will include a fellowship dinner, entertainment, and the symbolic passing of wisdom from one generation to the next.

This year’s Trainees’ Night will take place on 5th September at the College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka premises.
